Pickering Passage flows past the mouths of Hammersley Inlet, Totten Inlet, and Eld Inlet. It is a nutrient rich area, producing oysters that grow rapidly. The bedding is all cotton, with a goose down comforter and cotton quilts. The pillows are high quality goose down. There are decks off the kitchen and master bedroom, to enjoy the sunrise, sunset and all the wonders the passage has to offer. The natural stone staircase and gravel paths will take you to the wooden railed staircase access to the beach, where you can kayak, windsurf, paddle board, fish, whatever you like to do on the water. After your water sports, or walk along the gravel beach, go up take a hot outdoor shower, soak in the claw foot tub, take a sauna, or do all three. Abbondanza is difficult to describe, it has bountiful sea life, always common to see any number of birds, including bald eagles. It is quiet, peaceful, and has an effect on you that will make you wish you could stay longer, wanting more. The sauna is a favorite building where you can enjoy a warm eucalyptus infused relaxing space. Then take a hot outdoor shower overlooking the Sound. Rock away an hour on the master deck in teak rocking chairs with your favorite evening drink. Welcome!
