This incredible natural phenomenon, known as bioluminescence or sea sparkle, occurs when tiny plankton lights up and causes the sea to literally glow in the dark. Getting Around

Just one block away, there is a small corner store (Howrah Point Store) that does takeaways and sells groceries. The closest major supermarket is only 5 minutes walk at the Shoreline Shopping plaza.
It is highly recommended guests arrive with their own car for ease of transport. If this is not an option, public transport runs regularly along Howrah Beach Road. Taxis and Uber are convenient and reliable in Hobart.
