The space
This picturesque spot is a short walk from the heart of Bruny Island and all its services! Located in one of Tasmania's most popular holiday destinations, this is an immaculate cottage set in a lovely garden that enjoys exceptional views of the D'Entrecasteaux Channel. This glorious view is framed with distant snow-capped mountains in the cooler months. It is an inspiring vista that leaves you gasping the minute you enter the home!
The modest cottage has an inviting open plan kitchen/dining/living with full height glass sliders out onto an entertaining deck. Enjoy the ambience of being across the road from a foreshore walking track stretching a pristine coastal wonderland.
The sun filled kitchen has a benchtop that doubles as a breakfast bench and there is a separate laundry adjacent to the kitchen. Note that there is a portable two burner stove and no oven. Two good sized bedrooms are both filled with light and have water views. The main bedroom has a built-in wardrobe space and glorious water vista.
The comfortable home features reverse cycle air-conditioning, a panel heater in the bathroom over the bath, rainwater storage tank and lovely low maintenance gardens with an outside paved courtyard area. The jetty pontoon with boat moorings and boat ramp, also a minute walk away, offers boating convenience and great fishing with surf beaches just a ten-minute drive in every direction and only 25 minutes to the ferry.
