Built in 1900, this fully remodeled farmhouse blends rustic charm with modern amenities. Comfy home base for family adventures or a romantic anniversary retreat. 2 bedrooms PLUS loft area w/bunkbed and day bed in the cozy 3-seasons room, 2 FULL bathrooms! Enjoy the fresh air and natural beauty on 35 acres 30 minutes east of Wausau. The kids will enjoy all the open space and feeding the chickens! Relax in the country while you plan your outings or just stay at home and sit around the campfire.
Beautiful country retreat welcomes your family. The home is warm and inviting, filled with natural light. Lots of open space with mowed grass for the kids to play. Tree lined 35 acres with field views to the east and west. We have preserved the original barn from the Wolf family homestead. Use the Aniwa Farmhouse as your home base as you go on day trip adventures in the area or simply spend the day birdwatching on the farm.
The Aniwa Farmhouse is fully furnished and equipped with the essentials for a relaxing family getaway. We have provided board games, books and DVDs.

- You are welcome to the 2 story farmhouse and mowed yard area and mowed trails. The basement, garage and inside the sheds and barn are not for guest use.
- No smoking (pipes and cigars okay outside)
- Firewood for the fire pit is not provided.
- Pet friendly w/ $100 fee (max 2 dogs). Pet fees must be added prior to check-in. Please contact us with any questions.
- Must be at least 25 years old to book
- No fireworks, firearms (including BB guns) or ATVs allowed on the property
- No hunting on the property unless arranged with the owner
- Our general rule is no RV parking, but let us know the details and we can quote a nightly parking rate. There are no RV hook ups at the property.
- This property does not have WiFi or cable TV. TV has a DVD or can be used with your own device. We typically have excellent cell coverage and use our hotspots for internet and streaming.
