Set on 22 acres, this architecturally designed home boasts beautiful bush views and luxurious modern amenities. Where will I be?
Alpine Lodge is located approximately 10 minutes drive from Mittagong. Bowral is a 15 minute drive away. This is the perfect location for those who want a secluded retreat, yet on the doorstep of the Southern Highlands.
Why choose Alpine Lodge?
Alpine Lodge is split over three levels. The upstairs level has 3 bedrooms and 2 living rooms; the middle level has the main lounge areas, study, dining room, kitchen and butler's pantry; the lower level has 2 bedrooms and a rumpus room. Each level either connects to outdoor balconies or paved deck areas.
Wi-Fi, Internet, Netflix or Pay TV will I have it?
Alpine Lodge provides complimentary Wi-Fi and a password will be provided in your pre-arrival email, or will be available at the property. Please note however that neither the agency nor the owner can 100% guarantee that the Wi-Fi will work, and no compensation will be payable if problematic. If internet access is important to you, please have a backup plan.
The main lounge room has a large screen television, and due to its age and complexity, the home theatre system is still in the house, but its operation cannot be guaranteed.
What about outdoors?
Alpine Lodge is set on 22 Acres. The house is surrounded by gardens and manicured lawns. Beyond the lawns is bushland which attracts a range of wildlife that can be viewed from the expansive outdoor entertaining area.
Keeping warm or keeping cool?
There are heated, polished concrete floors in parts of the house. Between the formal dining room and the lounge room is a double sided gas fireplace which warms both areas. The ensuite bathroom features underfloor heating and a heated towel rail.
For the warmer months there is reverse cycle air conditioning throughout the house.
What about sheets, towels and other supplies?
High quality sheets and towels are provided at Alpine Lodge.
Parking for cars, boats etc?
Alpine Lodge has a carport plus open air driveway parking spaces. Sorry, the garage is not for guest use.
Is my dog or cat also welcome to stay?
Sorry, Alpine Lodge is not a pet friendly property.
Wildlife
Please note that due to the nature and location of this property, wildlife may be about including possums, kangaroos, spiders and snakes. We do whatever we can to keep the property safe and do work with a network of wildlife removal experts, however we cannot guarantee that you will not see any wildlife at the property. If you do, we will use our best endeavours to have the animal removed or to make the property safe, however no compensation whatsoever will be paid for any disturbance caused by wildlife. You must book the property knowing that this risk exists, even though very uncommon.
What are the minimum stay rules?
- Peak Season: Between 2 and 7 nights, depending on the property
- Easter: 4 nights
- Long Weekends: 3 nights
- All other times: 2 nights
Are there any special Peak Season rules?
Please note that during Peak Season, our properties may have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable. We also do not schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays.
