Summary: Beautiful home and property. We’re a family of 12 meeting other family at a semi nearby fish camp. The listing stated that it sleeps 12, but there’s a King/2 and two queens/4 and a fold out couch that really only sleeps one adult or maybe 2 children, so a total of 8 can sleep comfortably unless you bring air mattresses in which case there is plenty of room to set up two queens. There was an air pump, so maybe previous guests stole the air mattresses. The kitchen is well stocked and only missing a toaster and trash bags and functional cork screw. Restrooms were clean and although there was only enough towels for each person to use one for the weekend, there is a washing machine if needed but we just hung them up and reused them the second night. We got a little cold at night and could have used a few heavier blankets, but we also could have adjusted the thermostat. The neighbors were extremely kind and welcoming and we got a kick out of watching their little boy navigate the water and area like a professional. Some of the dishes weren’t cleaned real well, but I think it was just because they went through the dishwasher and the water is SO soft it has to be reallly hot, or it takes a bit to rinse the soap off or any residue or grime. Would love to go back as it is an extremely beautiful lot, and peaceful setting. It’s a well remodeled/maintained home. The boat in the boat slip is our only disappointment as it was much older and worn than pictured. We didn't rent it though.
