Lost Island hunt club and Lodge is located on a secluded, wooded island, on 200+ private acres near Linwood Ne overlooking the beautiful Platte River, a 1 hr drive (Approximately 60 miles) from Omaha or Lincoln. Lost Island lodge and the attached bunkhouse are used as our waterfowl hunting lodge during fall and winter with the facilities being perfect for summertime weekend gatherings, or week-long vacations for larger groups and families. Swimming, canoeing & kayaking, fishing, wading and exploring the river and it's sandbars, or just relaxing and sunbathing are all popular pastimes. Enjoy the peaceful lodge and bunkhouse with fully equipped kitchen, satellite TV, air conditioning, wood burning stove, loft, great room, sunroom, covered deck, and spacious patio, all with captivating, panoramic views of the river. Take nature walks, bring your bike, or hike our trails. Our family, guests, and customers have enjoyed the island for years and always look forward to their next visit. We're confident yours will too. **Covid 19 protocol in effect. We'll be limiting group size this summer, 1 group per week, min. 3 night stay, with at least 48 hours between groups. The entire property will be professionally cleaned and sterilized (sterile solution and intense UV lighting) weekly, as well as all matress covers laundered.
Additional information.: We do not have a telephone or WIFI. Cell phone reception is good, as are wireless internet devices for your laptop. Bedding, linens, bath towells, and beach towells are travelers responsibility.
Boat ramp available. Family reunions, business retreats, and group hunts, all work well. No ATV's or Golf Carts please. Bird watching and wildlife viewing opportunities abbound.
