Summary: Hotel very appealing externally. We were offered hot drinks and lemon cake on arrival. Very nice room, big window, the room had a much needed fan, small en-suite and a very comfy bed. Mini fridge for milk and complimentary tea and coffee, lovely Border biscuits on arrival but these were obviously a one off as they weren’t replaced. Breakfast was plentiful, many options and very filling. Hosts very welcoming and friendly. There was a small bar too but when we wanted a drink before dinner it wasn’t open.
