Summary: Our stay at the Greenway Spa Hotel did not meet expectations. Upon arrival, our booking had been entered incorrectly, leaving our reserved room unavailable. The “upgrade” offered turned out to be a cheaper room. Cleanliness was also lacking — the bathroom floor was dusty and appeared not to have been cleaned for weeks. The spa facilities were especially poor: the steam room was out of order, the sanarium was overheated with a broken thermometer, and the sauna’s temperature and humidity gauges didn’t work. Hygiene standards were low as guests used the sauna without towels, with no clear enforcement of rules. Breakfast was underwhelming for a hotel of this class, with inconsistent coffee and poorly prepared Eggs Royale. Dinner was the only highlight. Check-out was chaotic, with a billing error that initially overstated the charges. Overall: very poor value and not recommended.
