"The Deck House" is a lovely 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom, 2 living area house, with the beach a simple and level, short walk down a private grassy path next to the nature reserve, accessed via a gate at the rear of the property. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:
Indoor Areas
Downstairs is Bedroom 1, featuring a TV and WIR, plus an ensuite (with shower & toilet), Bedroom 2 (also with BIR) and an ensuite (with shower & toilet) and Bedroom 3, which is next to the third Bathroom (with shower & bath) and a separate Toilet off the fully equipped Laundry(with washing machine & clothes dryer). The downstairs Living room has a TV (with Apple TV) and a small kitchenette with a second microwave oven.
Upstairs are the magnificent ocean views from the large modern open plan Kitchen (with bi-fold servery windows to the Deck), Dining and Living room, with polished floorboards, and a TV (with apple tv) and fireplace. Step out of the bi-fold doors onto the large upstairs Deck.
Outdoor Areas
The huge upstairs deck wraps around the house on 3 sides affording breathtaking water and rural views. Perfect for a BBQ at any time of the day. The fully enclosed yard also has an outdoor shower, and there is parking for up to 3 vehicles (cars and/or a boat).
Kitchen
The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, Aldi pod coffee machine, toaster, kettle, etc. plus a double sink, pantry, large fridge, dishwasher, electric oven and gas cook top.
Heating/Cooling Systems
The upstairs Living and downstairs Bedroom 1, each have wall mounted reverse cycle split systems, plus there is a fireplace in the upstairs living area. There is also one pedestal fan and one oil heater in each of the other 2 bedrooms.

Bedroom 2 (Downstairs): One Queen bed

There is also a fold out Queen divan/sofa in the downstairs living room suitable for 2 adults or children.
Linen
It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.
Peak Periods
Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, * check in times *are set as 3pm (unless by prior arrangement). Please also note that if you avail of the optional* linen hire *over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.
Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies
Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties, or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies, irrespective of whether school-leavers are part of the official Schoolies Program. All bookings are subject to approval, pending Guest verification process. Local council restrictions are in place for this property, and compliance is mandatory.
