Rent our beautiful thatched farm, located on the nature-preserved island of Nyord by Møn. The farm dates from 1760 and is located in the middle of Nyord's idyllic village. The farm has been carefully modernized and has 10 beds (5 bedrooms). The farmhouse has a new, beautiful country kitchen, large dining room with a long table, living room with wood burning stove, 2 bathrooms and 5 bedrooms with beds for a total of 10 people. The house's layout and division make it suitable for 2 families. The house has central heating and is equipped with digital TV with DVD, wireless internet, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. There is also the possibility to borrow bicycles for both adults and children.
The courtyard includes a lovely large and secluded courtyard with topped cobblestones and a large lawn. In the barn we have arranged a new activity room with table tennis, etc.
Nyord Village is a vibrant and idyllic village with very well preserved houses and thatched farms. Nyord Village is completely peculiar and free from outside cars. The island of Nyord and its meadows are located in the middle of Bøgestrømen and form a large conservation area with bird life of international importance. 100 meters from the farm is the island's cozy harbor with bathing bridge and within cycling distance lies Ulvshale with wizard forest and Møns best sandy beach.
Møn and Nyord have in 2017 been appointed by the UN as a Biosphere Area with very special natural qualities. We are in Nyordgård with Græningslauget Nyord Strandenge, which is responsible for nature conservation of the large nature area Nyord Enge, which is an important part of the new Biosphere area. Also enjoy the night sky above Noyrd, which in 2017 is certified as "Dark Sky", which is the term for particularly good places to look at stars.
