If you want to just enjoy the lake and natural beauty, go on a few hikes, or take a trip to the river, this cabin is the perfect place!
Two level cabin with a master queen bedroom and bath on the bottom level where you can rest in complete darkness if you so desire and the other bedrooms and bath on the main floor with the kitchen and living room. The queen bed on the main floor has private rear porch access through sliding doors.
I love to sit on the front porch with a cup of coffee in the morning and just listen to the birds talk!
Take the floats across the dam to the community dock to float and swim. A couple floats and lake towels are available in the laundry room. Outside boats are not permitted on the lake due to cross-contamination.
There are numerous hikes you can walk with varying degrees of difficulty, waterfalls you can visit, and a lookout spot where you can park and take it all in!
You can also drive to the Chattooga River with your kayaks that has all different classes of difficulties to kayak or just take your floats and do the a lazy river float 😊( my personal favorite). There is a member of the Chattooga Paddling club that resides here full time!
Come for a Clemson game that is only 28 miles away and then stay for a mini vaca!!
Take a walk around the lake on the road that goes completely around and across the dam where the community dock is located.
Take a day trip up to the Highlands for some shopping and food. Just the drive to get there is amazing!
There is also the mountain coaster in GA, and zip lines to explore! The possibilities are endless!

Summary: Perfect mountain spot close to Clemson, much better than staying by the campus, lots of outdoor activity. House is spacious and loved walking around the lake.
