Summary: Had a fabulous time here in July for my bd weekend trip. The social hour is great time to meet neighbors in other rooms and get to know the host. Thrift and antique shopping was fun. Got a great hat from Helm Hatters in Joshua Tree and topped it all off with selecting artwork at the Shag store. Can’t wait to return to the city and stay at the retro Orbit Inn. Room was perfect with small kitchen and all the amenities necessary. Even enjoyed the pool late at night because it is just too hot in the desert in July!
