Double French doors open to a spacious living area complimented with a soapstone wood burning stove and multiple windows that invite fresh sea breezes and filtered sunlight.
Upstairs, there are three cheerful and spacious sun filled bedrooms, each with a large, double dormer window and air conditioning. All of the rooms have vaulted ceilings, making them bright, airy, and especially charming. Also located on the second floor is a large, windowed bathroom, with a clawfoot tub and a generous linen closet.
The remaining 4th bedroom is tucked away downstairs on the first floor in its own space with a full bathroom, washer/dryer laundry area and private outside entrance off the porch, which can be used if desired,but not necessary since it is accessible from inside first floor; perfect for those traveling with a nanny or simply someone that just needs "their own space". In short, this area can be as open or private as desired.
The kitchen is adjacent to and open to the living area, lending itself to a flexible open floor plan that is perfect for socializing without compromise to the privacy and peace of the rest of the living space.
Off the kitchen, there is a sliding glass door that leads to a private back deck, complete with BBQ grill, patio furniture, and sun lounges. The rear deck area is nicely arranged in that it is partially covered; ideal for those that may want to relax outside but not necessarily in direct sun. Of course there is ample space for those that want to work on their tan too!
Guests will also enjoy the very popular Fire Island "outdoor shower" located on the rear deck where guests can soak in the beautiful natural setting while lathering up after a day at the beach!
