Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The property was easy to access, great instructions sent out prior to arrival. Mow Barton was clean and tidy on arrival. The property was well stocked in the kitchen and had towels for the pool and tennis racquets.

Negative: Unfortunately the TV in the bath was not working, this had already been flagged however the steam oven, dishwasher and tumble dryer didn’t work which let the accommodation down. Unsure wether we met the caretaker or if he was the manor owner however he was far more into hostility than hospitality and appeared to be patrolling regularly with disdain and we did get a telling off for using the swimming pool for an extra hour despite it being very quiet on site and no one else booking it, I suppose rules are rules.

Summary: Beautiful location, shame about the appliances. If you’re a stickler for rules and laminated posters a great location.
