The hot tub is in an enclosed sun room which looks out on the in-ground pool and yard. The mansion is a 10 minute drive from Mohegan sun and Foxwoods. We are also located within a half an hour of the Connecticut shoreline and our stunning beaches. Our historic mansion is a must pick if you are looking for a large rental home in Southeastern Connecticut. During the summer season, pool maintenance is done daily by the property owner. He will not enter the house. This is New England, the pool season is from about June 1 to September 1, weather dependent. When the pool is first open, usually in the middle of May, it will take a couple of weeks for the chemicals to work. When it becomes warm enough, the pool will be clear. There is a carriage house on the property which has a studio apartment upstairs. There is a long term renter who lives there. She uses one parking space in the driveway and has no access to any other parts of the property. Her vehicle must not be blocked in, she must always have room to exit the driveway.
