Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Very nice, small room (for one) in a wonderful old building in the historic University of Salamanca grounds. Right on the edge of the main pedestrian area in the historic center. Easy access to Plaza Mayor, great restaurants and sights, and the river. Very quite because not on the street.

Negative: No parking, and no vehicle access to the door of the hotel. Parking was in an underground public lot, for 17 Euros overnight. Quite hard to find initially, because it is not on a real street. And all the wonderful old buildings look quite similear

Summary: This was an excellent base for a first exploration of wonderful Salamanca.
