Summary: We arrived at the Hampton Inn in Carson City on Friday, 6/20/25 for a visit with family in Gardnerville, NV. There were on going issues with the computers, reservations, key card access to the rooms, etc. The staff was friendly and professional, including while they were very busy coping and communicating with the line of guests waiting to check in. We had to be escorted to our room each time we needed to enter the room on Friday afternoon and evening. I appreciated the fitness room, because the pool was crowded with families. The breakfasts were delicious and very popular with my husband and me, and with the many families staying for the weekend. That area of eastern Carson City needs more retail and restaurants to open and stay open, and the front desk could provide maps including showing walking trails for guests who want to explore. We will consider staying at Hampton Inn & Suites again when we travel.
