Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The decor was lovely and the facilities ideal. The property has a lot of character and charm. Despite the extremely cold weather it was cosy and comfortable. The location is ideal and the views memorable. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful.

Negative: The owners are carrying out renovations in the directly adjacent property and I was subjected to excessive noise from the cellar directly below me. I understand the building work may be necessary but it should be suspended while there are paying guests staying. I left after one day as a consequence.

Summary: Gorgeous house spoilt by noise
