Summary: Breakfast was unavailable although I was under the impression from the information given beforehand that a continental breakfast was available. Likewise, unless mistaken, I had been led to believe that there was daily housekeeping but this did not take place. The wi-fi worked well but a couple of channels didn't work for the latter part of the stay from the minimum choice of television stations provided. However, it was a good stay all in all: the room was clean and the outlook was very scenic - I basically had a pleasant , enjoyable time there. It was reasonably convenient of access to the local amenities and facilities in Matlock Bath although it was a bit of a haul up and down the hill to the hotel! The staff was pleasant. I did feel slightly cold in the room occasionally.
