Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: It was within walking distance to the train station, it was warm and dry

Negative: It was strange that the location wasn’t the same address as listed on this site, we were given directions to Morrison Street, NOT Lauriston as shown in images. When gaining access to the building, staff were incoherant over the phone so I asked if they’d just send details via text. The stairway was poorly lit, unsettling and the motion sensors for turning the lights off in the hallway AND bathroom, didn’t feel welcoming at all. The toilet paper ran out and I couldn’t find any in the bathroom cupboards, so I went to the local shops and bought a 4pack only to discover later, that the rest of the toilet paper had been chucked to the top of the kitchen shelf. The bed’s mattress felt very thin, there weren’t extra blankets available (this is currently winter as I write)
