Tucked near the shores of Cape Jellison with a view of the ocean through the trees, this Stockton Springs cabin brings warmth and atmosphere to a prime location on the Midcoast. Spend your days exploring wonders of nature nearby, and your evenings barbecuing on the patio and relaxing by the woodstove.
This two-story home is located on Cape Jellison, the peninsula that juts into Penobscot Bay from the town of Stockton Springs (three miles north). Visit Fort Point State Park (one mile east) to find gentle trails, piers and floats for fishing and boating, picnic areas, and the Fort Point Light Station. Or, hop on your bike or cross-country skis to enjoy the seven-mile loop around the cape. This is also a wonderful location for day trips up and down Route 1, with Belfast (13 miles), Castine (27 miles), Camden (32 miles), and Acadia National Park (46 miles) all close by.
Behind a charming red door is a living space adorned with natural wood. Sink into the sofa to stream movies after a day of adventuring, set up a board game at the dining table, or get started on dinner using the gas grill and the cute country kitchen.
In the evenings, you'll find both bedrooms upstairs. One bedroom overlooks the water, offering a desk where you can log onto the complimentary WiFi and work with an ocean view. The full bathroom is on the main floor.
