Positive: The house is equipped with everything you need: a fully equipped kitchen, an iron, an ironing board, a hairdryer, and a washing machine. (For access to the washing machine, ask Adrian to leave you a key.) On the ground floor, there is a bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, a living room with a kitchen, an additional bathroom, a swimming pool, a covered outdoor seating area, and a barbecue area. Upstairs, there is another bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and a spacious terrace with a canopy bed and a small coffee table, where you can enjoy wonderful views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. The drive to the house can be a little challenging in some places, as the road winds through the mountains, with sharp bends and some narrow sections (about one and a half lanes wide). However, the scenery is unique, and the drive is a pleasure in itself! We had a small car and didn’t experience any problems. There is no parking space directly at the house, as it is located on a very narrow lane with houses on both sides. However, we always parked at the end of the lane, just a two-minute walk from the house. The nearest town is Agüimes, approximately 10 km away (a 15–20-minute drive). There are no shops nearby, so it’s a good idea to stock up on everything you need in a nearby town before arriving. The house is located in an incredibly peaceful area, far away from any noise. The only sounds you’ll hear are a few dogs barking and the meowing of the cats living nearby. (By the way, we were greeted by more than 10 little cats when we arrived!) The house is perfect for two couples to rent together, as there is plenty of space for everyone.
Negative: Unfortunately, the pool is not heated, but when the weather is nice, the water doesn’t feel too cold.
