The kitchen is a dream, with decorative range, stone lintel, and luxury appliances. It is extremely well-equipped with everything needed to conjure up a romantic meal or cooked breakfast. A separate utility ensures that muddy boots and outdoor clothing are hidden discretely from sight. Upstairs are the two generous bedrooms, both with super king size beds and more stunning views. Elterwater is a true escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. A tranquil hamlet with its tiny 'swan lake', Elter Water, sitting at the gateway of the striking Langdale valley. The soft valley landscape is in sharp contrast to the steep jagged Langdale Pikes. Elterwater sits between Ambleside and Great Landgale, where at the top of the valley the infamous Wrynose Path is the only way out of the u-shaped valley, giving it a superb sense of seclusion. The larger towns of Grasmere and Ambleside are a short drive away providing a host of options for shopping and eating out.
