A 5 minute walk to the train station and the direct line, will get you into the CBD within the hour, or in 15 minutes you can be at Miranda Westfield mall.

Summary: We were very happy with our choice of staying here on the beach in Cronulla and would 100% stay here again. Even though the waterfront is busy with pedestrians, it's relatively quiet (outside of construction hours). It was easy to check in, the views are amazing, the apartment was clean, and laundry was right outside the door. The kitchen had everything we needed and there were plenty of towels in the bathroom. There were some minor problems - the key didn't work on the outside gate so we had to walk around the construction site to access The Esplanade, the shower drain was pretty clogged so the shower overflowed to the other drain outside of the shower, there wasn't an adequate curtain (the sheer one wasn't long enough to go across the whole window, and an additional blackout curtain option would have been more ideal), the listed construction hours (M-F 8-3) were not what we experienced (M-Sat 7-4/4:30). Luckily, we are earlybirds, so the early morning wasn't a huge problem, but coming back in the afternoons was a bit painful when we just wanted to relax. Overall, this was a great place to stay on the beach.
