We would like to welcome you to our family friendly holiday house situated less than 100m from the beautiful sandy beaches of Abbey. Whether you are looking for a relaxing holiday lazing on the beach, swimming in the tranquil crystal clear waters, a spot of beach fishing and a picnic as the sun sets over the ocean, or maybe a nearby place to launch the boat at the popular Abbey Boat ramp, this is the spot for you. Keen cyclists bring your bikes and go for a leisurely ride along the bicycle path that winds along the beach 10km to Busselton or 18km in the other direction to Dunsborough.
Within a 10 minute drive, you can be in the heart of Busselton where you can visit the famous Busselton jetty and underwater observatory, enjoy the atmosphere of the recently upgraded foreshore redevelopment, play golf, tennis or check out the extensive range of shops. In just 20 minutes, you can reach Western Australia's premier Margaret River region, with its world renowned wineries, boutique breweries, art galleries, cheese factories, chocolate factories, and some of the best surf beaches in the state.
If you would prefer to relax at home, you can enjoy a BBQ, and there are plenty of board games, jigsaws and books to enjoy. We also have Chromecast which allows you to cast from your own device to the TV when it is connected to our Wi Fi, and gives you access to most major streaming services (you will need to have your own account). The house is only a short walk to the local Fish and Chip shop, Claudio's Bakehouse, Allure at Abbey restaurant and local bottleshop. The new Vasse Village has a Coles supermarket, petrol station, medical center and several food outlets all within a 2 minute drive.
Ideally set up for 1 to 2 families the house comfortably sleeps 6 to 7 people in 3 bedrooms, has 2 large living rooms, a simply equipped kitchen for preparing basic meals, and an expandable dining table that seats 10, as well as a BBQ on the patio out the back. There is parking for two cars in the back.
Our house is family orientated and situated in a quiet neighborhood and we have a good relationship with our neighbours which we would like to continue. As such, we do not allow any parties or events to be held on the property, and request music to be played at a low volume and turned off at night.
Please note that linen is not provided in the booking fee and we prefer that you bring your own where possible. Each bed has a doona and one pillow per person - you will be required to bring bed sheets, pillow covers and doona covers. If required, bed linen and towels can be made available by prior arrangement at an additional charge of $20 per person per stay.
No smoking is permitted on the property.
Our house is set up as follows:
Bedroom 1 - Queen bed and wardrobe (and fold up portacot)
Bedroom 2 - Double bed and wardrobe
Bedroom 3 - Bunk bed and single bed
Bathroom - Vanity & shower over bath.
Laundry - Equipped with washing machine, dryer, ironing board & iron.
Separate toilet off the laundry
Kitchen - Equipped with fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher, induction cooktop and oven. Nescafe Dolce Gusto pod coffee machine, coffee plunger and coffee bean grinder.
Dinning Area - dinning table expandable to seat 10 people (and high chair)
Front Living Area - 1 x 2 seater and 1 x 3 seater couches, 50" LCD TV
Rear Living Area - 6 seater corner lounge and 2.5 seater couch. 60" LCD TV.
Rear Verandah - Outdoor setting and 4 burner gas BBQ

Late check-outs can be made available by prior arrangement during non peak periods and when there are no immediately following bookings.
Cleaning fee $180.00
Bond of $500.00 to secure booking

We accept Leavers bookings however we are always mindful of the need to be respectful of our neighbours and damage to our property. Therefore we ask for a few additional things prior to taking a leavers booking:
1. The security deposit to be increased to $1,000, this is fully refundable if there are no issues / damage.
2. No more than 6 people can stay at the property - this is a condition of our license.
3. No loud music or noise to be made, especially at night.
4. We will require the names of every person staying at the property and contact details for a parent / guardian of each person.
5. We will need to call and perform reference checks with a couple of parents / guardians before taking the booking.
If you are happy with these conditions and can provide the information requested above, and everything checks out with your referees, we will be happy to take your booking.
