Positive: location and views superb

Negative: extremely scruffy accommodation. many things needed repairing or replacing. The property is currently up for sale since summer 2025 by the owners, so i'm assuming they have no intention of doing any work on the property to rectify any problems. One of the settees had completely collapsed in the frame and the other was very old and uncomfortable. The kitchen door stuck fast on the old stone floor making it difficult to access the tiny kitchen. That said, my stay was not expensive so I felt it was worth the inconvenience plus the bed and bedding was of very high quality.

Summary: an old cottage in desperate need of some TLC however could have been wonderful at some point in time
