Lohals is a small harbor and a beautiful place in the very north of Langeland. It originated in the 17th century as a fishing village and experienced rapid development in the 19th century along with seafaring. Today there are no more ferries, but there is a marina that is a popular place to visit. The harbor is bustling with activity, there are restaurants and inns, and music is played in the summer. Near the town there are forests for hiking.
